Our Avalere Health employee networks play a critical role in fostering our culture in the work that they do.

Our networks offer our team members a safe and confidential space to discuss issues affecting them. The groups are a place for like-minded people and provide a centered space for the communities that they support, as well as vacancies for allies to get involved and learn about how to support the group.

Each of our dedicated groups–on gender equality, diverse ability, race/ethnicity, family, mental health, and LGBTQ+ colleagues-are sponsored by a senior executive to provide advocacy, guidance, and support.

Building a healthier world across the globe

Like many areas of society, inequalities are pervasive across healthcare.

At Avalere Health, we empower our team members with the knowledge and skills needed to help our clients understand, reach, and engage marginalized patient groups.

By equipping our teams with the tools to recognize inequalities, we can uncover novel opportunities for our biopharmaceutical, medical technology, and wellness clients to build a healthier world for every patient.

We strive to achieve equity in everything we do

In the last two years, we:

  • Appointed the first female Chairperson to the board, and five of our eleven executive leadership team members are now women.

  • Have pledged to CEO Action for Diversity and Inclusion, which is the largest CEO-driven business commitment to advance D&I in the workplace.

  • Broadened our D&I offering to six employee network groups and adding executive sponsors to lead each group.

  • Have memberships to Inclusive Companies,, GWork (for LGBTQ+ professionals), and HLPA (for Hispanic and Latino professionals).

  • Launched unconscious bias as mandatory companywide training.

  • Strengthened our future talent by increasing the number of interns and grads hired in 2022/23, including a program targeted at the BIPOC community.

  • Reduced our UK Gender Pay gap from 7.4% in 2021 to 0.33% in 2022.

  • Increased our Inclusion Index from 77% to 83% in 12 months.
