Avalere Health announces new partnership with Nested Knowledge to enhance long-term AI strategy

5/21/2024

We are pleased to announce a new partnership with Nested Knowledge – a leading provider of AI-based SaaS platform solutions for systematic literature review and meta-analysis. The partnership will enable us to power our world-class evidence synthesis and global consulting teams with generative technologies to deliver faster, deeper, and more meaningful services, ultimately supporting life-science companies to bring products to market quickly and more effectively.

“We are delighted to be working in partnership with the team at Nested Knowledge. The platform has been seamlessly integrated into our existing evidence synthesis and analyses solutions but also opens up many more opportunities for us,” said Jan McKendrick, Global HEOR Practice Lead at Avalere Health. “In addition to targeted reviews and HTA-ready systematic reviews, we can use the platform to generate rapid insights for clients to support a variety of projects. It’s exciting to see how different technologies can fit together to power our insight generation across our business.”

The new partnership forms part of our comprehensive AI strategy, which follows a security-first approach within ethical frameworks and is built on a well-established foundation of technical knowledge. We are leveraging the power of this innovation to enable our interdisciplinary teams to deliver fully compliant, high-value work at speed.

“The platform aligns with our wider build and buy digital strategy, in which we are combining our extensive expertise with powerful and secure technical solutions,” says Geoff Thorne, Chief Technology Officer. “Connecting Nested Knowledge with our own in-house proprietary AI solutions allows our team to deliver more efficiently and powerfully.”

Kevin Kallmes, CEO at Nested Knowledge, added: “We have enjoyed working with the Avalere Health team to pilot and embed our application into their market access and HEOR business. During our engagement we have uncovered different ways of applying the functionality to get to the heart of the business challenges faced by clients – it’s exciting to see these use cases evolve.”
