Avalere Health welcomes two strategic trailblazers to lead Global Marketing Agency of Record teams

We are pleased to announce two strategic hires in our Global Marketing capability to accelerate focus on helping life sciences companies reach EVERY PATIENT POSSIBLE. Jocelyn (Jo) Crouch, Head of Brand Strategy, and Saiqa Kahn, Ph.D., Head of Growth, will guide our Marketing Agency of Record (AOR) teams in unlocking healthcare strategies and solutions that bring new possibilities for the overlooked and underserved.

“Jo and Saiqa are exceptional leaders with unique, strategic expertise,” said Amar Urhekar, CEO. “They will be instrumental in supporting our Advisory, Medical, and Marketing experts to break down healthcare barriers and uncover unconventional solutions that drive tangible change for every patient.”

 

Jo Crouch brings more than 20 years of experience in developing innovative strategies for prominent biopharmaceutical brands. She will lead the Brand Strategy team, leveraging strategy, creativity, data, and technology to build meaningful healthcare brands that reach, engage, and empower every patient.

An award-winning brand strategist, Jo previously held the position of Therapeutic Lead, Oncology and Specialty Medicine for International Developed Markets at Publicis Health. During this time, she served as the business lead for Pfizer’s International Developed Markets, enabling the delivery of data-driven campaigns that heightened engagement with patients and healthcare professionals and fostering a high-performing culture that supported Pfizer’s growth and market leadership.

Before joining Publicis Health, Jo led healthcare strategy teams at VMLHealth and Weber Shandwick, building competitive brands for Novartis Pharma and across disease areas, including oncology, inflammatory diseases, neurology, women’s health, and respiratory.

A passionate advocate for women’s health, Crouch also co-founded ZAOWOMAN, an organization changing the way menopause is managed in the workplace by providing evidence-based, expert-led programs that support women from perimenopause to menopause and beyond.

Dr. Saiqa Khan will lead the Global Marketing Business Development to build new models of client partnership, driven by continued commercial innovation and excellence.

She has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, working across multidisciplinary roles in medical, commercial. client engagement, strategic consultancy, and business development. She previously held the position of Executive Vice President, Head of Commercial Development at Complete HealthVizion (part of IPG Health), where her leadership across new client partnerships, brand strategy and customer engagement, was instrumental in portfolio diversification and growth.

Her unique blend of commercial acumen, scientific integrity, and unwavering authenticity has empowered teams and established trusted, value-driven client relationships throughout her career. Dr Khan has also held senior leadership and strategic roles at Prime Global, AMICULUM, Nucleus, and AlphaRmaxim.

Dr. Khan is a strong advocate of building client trusted partnerships, grounded in uncompromised credibility, reliability, and authenticity. “I’m excited to explore new partnership models at Avalere Health that help our clients navigate today’s complex landscape and realize the full impact of every scientific breakthrough,” said Dr. Khan. “Together, we will advance innovations that make a tangible difference for EVERY PATIENT POSSIBLE.

Dr. Khan, who has a doctorate in nuclear medicine, volunteers for One Million Mentors (1MM), a community-based mentoring project to connect one million young people with life-changing opportunities.
