Avalere Health launches ‘Within Reach’, a new oncology anthology about what it really means to navigate cancer access, treatment, and care

Grounded in real patient experiences, this multimedia anthology brings together human stories and deep oncology expertise to examine why scientific breakthroughs still aren’t reaching the people who need them most.

No single story can capture the reality of cancer. The patient journey is rarely linear, and neither are the decisions that shape outcomes. Within Reach is built on this premise: bringing together multiple voices and vantage points to explore the interconnected challenges of diagnosis, treatment, access, and care.

The anthology features real patient stories, expert commentary, in-depth showcases on pressing oncology topics, and a dedicated podcast series. Each piece stands alone, but together they offer a more complete picture of the oncology landscape, connecting scientific rigor with lived experience to inform and support patient-first decision making.

Developed in collaboration with colleagues from across our Advisory, Medical, and Marketing capabilities, Within Reach draws on the collective expertise of our 500+ in-house oncology specialists, with over 200 oncology engagements and 37 product launches in the past five years.

From tackling taboo cancers to improving access to clinical trials and targeted therapies, the anthology takes a deliberate approach to breaking down some of the most urgent and complex issues in oncology today. By presenting a breadth of voices across formats, it equips healthcare decision-makers with a clearer, more holistic understanding of what is at stake—and what is possible.
