Avalere Health adds an experienced executive in policy, access, value, evidence with appointment of Tim Wright

Tim Wright joins Avalere Health as Global President of Policy, Access, Value, and Evidence, to drive innovative integrated solutions for clients across the world.

We are delighted to announce that Tim Wright, a highly experienced executive in policy, access, value and evidence has joined our team at Avalere Health as the new President of its global Policy, Access, Value, and Evidence capability. The announcement was made just before the Professional Society for Health Economics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) Europe meeting in Copenhagen, Denmark, being held from November 12 to 15.

“Tim is an accomplished and respected leader who brings more than 30 years of global experience in pricing, reimbursement and market access consultancy,” said Amar Urhekar, Chief Operating Officer. “He has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in managing teams and succeeding in this complex environment. Tim will ensure we deliver our industry-leading solutions to clients as they engage with our community of experts.”

With Tim at the helm, our team will continue to increase its collaborative engagements with Avalere Health’s policy, market access, HEOR, and healthcare transformation colleagues in the U.S., closing the gap in executing market access strategies for global brand launches. When the agency rebranded in October, leading HEOR and market access consultancies, such as Policy Analysis Inc (PAI), Skysis and PRMA Consulting, retired their names to adopt the Avalere Health moniker to further emphasize the agency’s integrated service offerings. Tim’s experience draws from more than 1,000 global engagements and senior leadership roles at companies including Evidera, United BioSource Corporation and Total Healthcare Group. He also has 12 years of country, regional and global in-house expertise at leading biopharmaceutical companies, such as AstraZeneca, Janssen-Cilag U.K., Allergan and Astra.

These integrated services range from driving early asset investment strategies to assessing how legislative changes impact coverage and access and creating relevant experiences that evolve.
