The business challenge
The Analytics team required additional support
• Avalere Health was brought in to provide embedded support, addressing the support gap and offering strategic advice to enhance current practices
• Additionally, Avalere Health played a key role in building data to inform future business cases that would support workflow improvements
What we did
Forecasting:
• Assessed the existing forecast model for a product launched recently, to identify areas of strengths and weaknesses to enhance the model further
• Developed a forecast model for a product in EU and Canada markets, in anticipation of launch
Ongoing support: provided ongoing and ad hoc support with day-to-day tasks such as sales tracking
How we did it
• Developed a scalable forecast model that could be utilized by EU and Canada markets in anticipation of launch
• Provided strategic recommendations to support the commissioning of future research, ensuring forecast assumptions were more robust
• Conducted sales tracking for an in-market product day-to-day
• Developed and finalized field force KPI reports
• Provided additional ad hoc support as and when required
Results
• Markets are now in a position to action the forecast model to support organization level decisions
• Embedded support has been extended to continue to provide additional support
• Additional forecasting work has been commissioned for Avalere Health team to execute and deliver
