Amanda Sitkowski supports healthcare organizations with research and analysis on a wide range of health policy issues. Before joining Avalere, Amanda researched the impact of the 2024 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule on the physician workforce and interned at the American Medical Association, where she analyzed private equity's impact on rural health care. Previously, she worked for Olympus Corporation of the Americas, where she researched and analyzed Medicare updates, software as a service, and the Transitional Coverage of Emerging Technologies Pathway. Amanda has also served as a health policy and law fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and at National Association of County and City Health Officials, where she worked on various epidemiology projects and policy statements. Before starting her MPH, Amanda worked at Willis Towers Watson as a health and benefits associate, focusing mainly on analysis of health plans for employers. While completing her bachelor's degree, she worked at the University of Chicago Medicine analyzing quality of care, and for two start-up health applications aimed at mitigating health disparities. Amanda graduated magna cum laude from Emory University with a bachelor's degree in human health and sociology. She also holds an MPH in public health policy from the University of Chicago.
