Dhruva Patel supports the execution of enterprise data strategy and sourcing initiatives for Avalere Health's Data & Analytics Intelligence Hub through assisting on data strategy optimization, including, vendor evaluation and selection, and ongoing vendor management, to build scalable, cost-effective data ecosystems. Additionally, she supported clients with research and analysis spanning a variety of healthcare sectors and stakeholders, applying her background in clinical trials and marketing research to a broad range of client projects. Before joining Avalere, Dhruva held a clinical research position in the Pediatric Endocrinology Division at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine where she assisted in Phase I, II, and III clinical trials for novel therapies for diabetes. She also explored how to integrate new diagnostic artificial intelligence devices into care management for patients in various clinical settings. Additionally, Dhruva was an intern at The Institute of Global Tobacco Control, where she provided quality, data, and project management support for tobacco and FDA policy research. Dhruva holds a BS in neuroscience and BA in public health from Johns Hopkins University. She is currently an MD candidate at the University of Illinois College of Medicine.
