James is a Consultant within the Global Market Access team. James revels in the variety of Global Market Access and exploring the different ways in which markets across the 4EU + UK, APAC, LATAM and MENA assess pharmaceutical products and establish patient access. James' experience is predominantly in oncology, but has recently worked on several projects involving vaccines/immunization type products. James' previously spent 18 months living in China, which included teaching biology at a university and working as a Postdoctoral Researcher within Henan Cancer Hospital. Prior to this, he worked as an Oncology and Hematology Analyst within market research, publishing market forecast reports on different cancer indications. James first became interested in oncology when he was 16 years old, an interested which fuelled his BSc in Biological Sciences (Cell Biology) from the University of Edinburgh and a PhD in collaboration with AstraZeneca, which involved using pre-clinical anti-cancer compounds to investigate specific signalling pathways in cancer cells. Outside of work, James 'enjoys' following Newcastle United football/soccer team, spending time with his family and exploring London.
