
Maddi Davidson is a Managing Director who helps life sciences organizations navigate the evolving U.S. market access landscape to support successful commercialization and improve patient access. She advises pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostics, provider, and advocacy clients on coverage, coding, and reimbursement, and broader healthcare trends, helping them make informed commercial decisions in a rapidly changing environment. Maddi works across medical benefit therapies, drugs, and diagnostics, with experience spanning oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, urology, cardiology, and biomarker-driven care. She leads commercial analytics engagements that uncover market opportunities and payer insights to inform product and market access strategy. She also brings deep expertise in provider networks, ownership models, and healthcare consolidation, helping clients understand how provider economics and organizational structure influence treatment decisions. These insights support more effective customer segmentation, targeting, and engagement strategies. Maddi also advises clients on the market access implications of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), including the Medicare Drug Price Negotiation program with specific focus on Part B drug effectuation. She works closely with Avalere's Policy and Evidence & Strategy teams to help clients anticipate policy changes and develop practical, integrated strategies. In 2025, Maddi was recognized as one of the Association for Value-Based Cancer Care's (AVBCC) 40 Under 40 in Cancer for her leadership and contributions to oncology. Before joining Avalere, she supported the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) as a contractor with The Lewin Group, where she evaluated alternative payment models and quality programs.
