Markas Elias is an Associate in the US Market Access practice on the Advisory team. Recently, Markas supported payer research examining how reimbursement for Medicare-negotiated Part B products may evolve in commercial markets when ASP is no longer published. By translating payer interviews and survey findings into clear strategic implications, we helped clients assess potential contracting changes, identify market access risks, and inform future engagement with national and regional health plans. Markas has also supported clients navigating the MDPNP negotiations by translating evolving policy requirements into clear strategic and operational considerations. Markas supports the Part B SME team, contributing research and analysis related to reimbursement, pricing, payer contracting, and market access strategy. Before joining Avalere Health, Markas interned at a small consulting firm, where he supported organizational transformation initiatives for government contracting firms. Markas also volunteered with the University of Maryland Medical Center’s Growth and Strategy team, conducting research that contributed to the organization’s workforce retention strategy and three-year growth plan. Markas holds a bachelors degree in Public Health Science from the University of Maryland, College Park.
